This is where you can "purchase" or "trade in" the materials you've gathered for supplies. Below is the list of items available for purchase and their price. Below that you can find the form to fill out to purchase these. Once you purchase an item a staff member will remove the amount of Materials required from your account as soon as possible. If you have insufficient funds, then you will receive none of what you ordered and will have to instead repost what you would like following the amount of money you have. And remember, characters can only have five items each unless they possess a backpack/duffle bag, in which case that number is raised to ten (not counting the backpack/duffle bag). Here are the items:
Here is the form you must fill out and then reply to this thread with if you would like to purchase an item. Remember to remove the curly brackets {} and everything inside of them:
It is up to you to assign materials to characters. If you want more than one of a certain item, you must put the name of that item more than once in the items wanted section.
Item | Description | Price (in # of Materials) |
Pocket Knife | A small knife that is also foldable. Easy concealment, but the downside is that this weapon requires you to get close to walkers in order to kill them. Which i often too close for comfort. | 50 |
Screwdriver/Awl | A very common item found virtually anywhere. This is very easy to conceal and an upside is that since it's longer than a pocket knife you won't have to get as close to the walker to kill it, although a few inches doesn't make too much of a difference. | 50 |
Hammer | A tool that's just as common as the screwdriver! This tool has the claw in the back and the blunt in the front so you can kill a walker however you want. The downside to this weapon is that it is very close ranged and doesn't allow you too much range when fighting a walker. | 50 |
Knife | This is larger than the pocket knife, but still not too long. It's also a very common item that you can find in most kitchens and is relatively concealable. You have more range when killing walkers than with previous weapons, but you should still watch out. | 100 |
Needle and Thread | This is the most basic healing kit. This is very portable and easily concealed. This is good for healing one wound total on any one character. This cannot be used to heal a walker induced wound. | 100 |
Meat Cleaver | This weapon isn't too common, but common enough where you could find it in some kitchens. It's concealable and it allows for some viscous walker killing. But as always, watch out when using melee weapons, you're not as safe as you feel. | 100 |
Sickle | This weapon is a useful tool found in lots of barns on the country side. It's concealable and will serve you well when you need to stick something through a walker's head on a moment's notice. Remember that even though this weapon doesn't involve you getting too close to a walker, you're still in arm's reach. | 100 |
Pole/Rod | This weapon allows you to be close ranged but at the same time far enough away where you don't have to worry too much about getting bit. This weapon is not too concealable. It has some stabbing abilities, but is best suited for bludgeoning. | 150 |
Hatchet | This weapon is a concealable weapon that really comes in handy when fighting the undead. It won't fight down an undead horde but it'll help you fight your way through a small swarm of zombies at best. | 150 |
Hunting Knife | This is the most wicked knife you can find. It's concealable, long, and sharp! This will help you fight your way through a small pack of the undead with relative ease. But don't forget that walkers want to kill you just as much as you want to kill them. | 150 |
Golf Club | This weapon really comes in handy when you need to bash some heads in. It's concealable and it provides enough room for you to be just out of arms' reach. But this weapon is not too durable. | 150 |
Crowbar | This weapon is very common and very useful. Concealable, not only does it help you to pry things open, you can stab OR bludgeon a walker with it! This weapon is much longer than the hammer and allows more space between you and the walker. Careful though, sometimes it can get stuck if you stab. | 150 |
Baseball Bat | This is a great and very common weapon when it comes to the zombie apocalypse. It's not concealable, but it extremely durable. This weapon has no stabbing ability whatsoever and is solely a bludgeon, but it is very good at that job. | 200 |
First Aid Kit | This is the next step up when it comes to healing. This weapon will heal up to two (2) wounds total and can be used on any character, even if it isn't yours. This cannot be used to heal a walker induced wound. | 200 |
Pick Axe | This weapon is great if you need to put a hole in a walker's head. It's not concealable and it will take some strength to use, but if you're strong enough this is one of the best weapons out there. | 200 |
Machete | This is a great weapon! It's light, but not necessarily concealable unless you do a good job. It's great if you're looking to hack into some walkers' heads and will definitely get you out of a fix, but don't count too heavily on it. It was meant for weak jungle branches. | 200 |
Backpack/Duffle Bag | As we all know, characters can only carry up to five (5) items without a backpack. With a backpack, a character can carry up to five more! Imagine being able to have ten items! | 200 |
Pitchfork | This is a good weapon for stabbing. That's about as good as it gets. It's not at all concealable and it's heavy. But it provides a comfortable distance between you and a walker, so that's gotta count for something, right? | 300 |
Spiked Baseball Bat | This is a great weapon if you're looking to bash and slash. It's got nails and spikes jutting out all over and that'll help to puncture AND bludgeon so that you get more of a chance of a kill in one swing! It's not concealable. | 300 |
Hooked Machete | This is the upgraded version of the machete. It's light, but not as concealable as the regular machete. It does have a hooked end and is sharp all around, so it's great if you need to hack, slash, or even if it's necessary, slice off a limb. | 300 |
Medical Kit | A step up from the first aid kit, the medical kit can heal up to a total of three (3) wounds on any character(s). | 400 |
Axe | The axe is one of the best weapons you can have in a zombie apocalypse. Light enough to carry around, but not concealable, and has enough weight to slice through the heads of the undead. | 400 |
Scythe | This is another great weapon to have in the zombie apocalypse. Scythes are a medium weight, but not concealable. They're great for slicing into walkers and will give you more than enough distance from them when you do so. | 400 |
Sword/Katana | This is a good weapon when you need to chop and hack through some undead! It is somewhat heavy, but it's pretty concealable. If you're strong enough then this weapon is a great start to surviving the apocalypse. | 400 |
Revolver | This is a great weapon that is concealable and lightweight. It is a ranged weapon, so you don't have to be anywhere near the walker when you kill it, just as long as you have good aim! This weapon is very slow to reload, though. This weapon also has infinite ammunition, but requires a reload post (a non-attacking post) in between every six attacks this is used. This weapon has a chance of attracting more walkers when used. | 400 |
Chainsaw | This is a weapon made for destruction. With an infinite tank of gas, you can chop, slice, and hack your way through a horde. It is heavy though and has no ability to be concealed whatsoever. This weapon has a chance of attracting more walkers when used. | 500 |
Rifle | This weapon is a nice weapon to have handy. It is not concealable and is medium weight. It has extreme range, so you can be tens of yards away when you take the shot (Just make sure you have good aim). This weapon is a bit slow to reload and only has one bullet at a time. This weapon has infinite ammunition, but requires a reload post (a non-attack post) in between every three attack posts this is used. This weapon has a chance of attracting more walkers when used. | 500 |
Pistol | This weapon is highly concealable, lightweight, and useful. It is ranged, so you don't have to be close when you shoot, but as always, you should probably have good aim when using this weapon. This weapon has infinite ammunition, but requires a reload post (a non-attack post) in between every ten attacks this is used. This weapon has a chance of attracting more walkers when used. | 500 |
Bow and Arrows | This weapon is great for someone who has good aim, but doesn't want to attract walkers by causing lots of noise. This weapon is lightweight and somewhat concealable. It has thirty arrows (ammunition) and can come in handy when you need to pick off a couple walkers. | 500 |
Crossbow | This is a great weapon, again, for someone who does not want to attract walkers, but has good aim. This weapon is not very concealable, but is lightweight. This weapon has 50 bolts (ammunition) and will definitely help when you're in a fix and you need to pick through a few walkers. | 600 |
Shotgun | This weapon is incredibly useful. It is not concealable and is of midweight. Unlike the rifle, the shotgun has multiple bb's that launch out and obliterate it's target. You do have to be considerably closer than with a rifle, but with this gun you have a better chance of killing walkers! Remember, aim is important, but with the shotgun, you can be a little off. This weapon has infinite ammunition, but requires a reload post (a non-attacking post) in between every three attacks this is used. This weapon has a chance of attracting more walkers when used. | 600 |
Assault Rifle | This weapon is incredibly useful! It's midweight and somewhat concealable. This weapon has the ability to fire multiple bullets in the span of only a few seconds and it will be one of the most useful weapons against a horde. This weapon has infinite ammunition and requires no reload posts. This weapon has a chance of attracting more walkers when used. | 1000 |
